In
addition, following the demise of MBM Produce, Tilia
Foulsham purchased 2 food storage sites situated at
Little Snoring Airfield and Melton Constable providing
an additional 50,000 sq ft of potato and grain storage.
Located north of the A148 lies Little Snoring airfield
which became redundant in 1958 and was the home of No.
100 Group squadrons. The T2 hanagar will be used for
agricultural storage with laboratory and office
facilities on an adjacent block.
The
Melton Constable site consists of the former railway
engineering site and is divided into 4 potato/grain
storage sheds.
