The company name is derived from the Latin name for a Lime tree, Tilia Cordata, which is native to Norfolk and the South of England.

Tilia Properties was originally incorporated in 1965 as a manufacturing company in the marine industry. Over the next two decades the business expanded by acquiring land on an industrial site at Rackheath in Norfolk and constructing buildings.

By the Nineties the companies' industrial property portfolio had grown to approximately 230,000 square feet of buildings. These required specialist management, so a dedicated team was introduced to run the business with a 'hands on' style.

The company and its team pride itself on delivering a quality product that matches our customers needs, this is achieved by listening to what our customers require for their businesses.
